Your garage doesn’t have to be a dusty, disorganized afterthought. With the right touch, your garage can be a truly unique space for you to show off your vehicle, get work done, or even kick back and relax in. A garage makeover can turn any dusty, damp and cluttered garage into a clean and tidy space you can be proud of.
Transform the way you look at your garage
Closet Envy gives your garage a makeover by creating a sleeker and more organized space with epoxy garage flooring, garage storage & organization systems, and durable Swisstrax flooring.
Your garage doesn’t have to feel like it’s not being used to its full potential. It should be a space that you take pride in, and one where you want to spend time. Your vehicles and toys deserve to be showcased in the best way possible. Epoxy garage flooring transforms your garage into your own personal automotive showroom. Professional garage floor coating makes your garage feel brand new again, even if you’re not ready to take the plunge and get a full garage makeover.
Let’s face it – when it comes to getting our homes organized, the garage is one of the last places we think of. Your garage doesn’t have to be disorganized. With the right garage storage design, it can be a place where you go to get work done, hang out and enjoy some quiet time, or display your new vehicle in all its glory. Closet Envy is a leading designer and installer of custom garage storage systems, including garage slatwall systems and garage cabinets.
One of the most important elements of high quality garage flooring is durability. With vehicles driving in and out of your garage, tools and hardware being stored within it, and hard work being done inside of the garage, it can be extremely difficult to maintain a clean and spotless garage floor finish.

Chilise Brimely
Designer
Chilise Brimley is the newest member to the Closet Envy team. After earning her diploma in Interior Design at the Interior Design Institute, she entered the design world to explore her passion to transform rooms into beautifully designed functional spaces. As a mother of two young boys, she understands the importance of having a well organized and beautiful home, especially during these times where our homes are used now more than ever.
Shaun Oriold
Owner
Shaun has been involved in the closet and storage industry in multiple capacities for over two decades. He started out working for a factory that manufactured closet and storage components. This inspired him to buy a garage organization business. Based on his experience at the factory, Shaun introduced closets into the company’s product mix. Closet Envy began this way in 2012, and has been creating beautiful storage spaces for homeowners in Burlington and surrounding communities since.
Shaun’s success in the storage business is unquestionable, and his pedigree includes:
Two design awards from the Woodworking Network
Former Board Member of the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals (ACSP)
Shaun has a softer side as a certified licensed wedding officiant, a role he takes very seriously. He has performed many beautiful ceremonies for couples in Burlington and surrounding cities. He also supports Habitat for Humanity with closets for homes being built by the organization. He also has one gorgeous boxer.
David McKim
ACSP Registered Closet & Storage Designer
David has been in the closet business since 2011. He loves working with homeowners, listening to what they want, and creating something that is beautiful and functional for them. One of his favourite projects was a 150-year old home in Carlisle that needed a specialized solution to work with the older home’s sloping floors – it was a challenge and the client loved the results.
There isn’t a problem that David can’t solve for our clients, and his eye for detail and laser focus on what the customer wants results in designs that make our clients happy every time.
“I love meeting new people every day and creating solutions for people’s problems.”
Before starting in the storage industry, David worked for over seventeen years in the hospitality industry. This honed his customer service skills to the point that he can really get inside a customer’s head and clearly see what they want.
Greg oversees multiple crews every day on installations. He coordinates who is doing what each day, ensures each crew has exactly what they need, and puts the final finishing touches on each job himself.
Over fifteen years ago, he was working for another closet company with the current Closet Envy owner, Shaun. When Shaun struck out on his own to start Closet Envy, Greg joined him. It wasn’t very long before the two built Closet Envy into a successful enterprise that needed to hire more staff to meet demand.
Greg is devoted to music and has a big footprint in the local Burlington music scene. He has toured with bands all over the world, playing guitar and singing. One of his favourite current hobbies is arrowhead hunting, which he does all over Ontario in his free time.
Melissa Jane Veinotte
ACSP Registered Closet & Storage Designer
Melissa has over 14 years of experience in the closet and storage cabinetry industry. With her background in sales and an education in Interior Design, she’s making her mark with Closet Envy clients as one of our lead designers. Her Interior Design credentials come from a 4-year program at Oakville’s Sheridan College, from which she graduated with honours.
She’s always had an interest in cabinetry, and her first job out of Sheridan was with a closet company where she hit the ground running. She worked there for five years until the company closed. She met Shaun, Closet Envy’s owner, while working in the industry and when the initial company she was working with closed she joined Shaun at Closet Envy.
“Life’s too short to be messy!” -Melissa
Melissa’s favourite jobs are redoing the whole home and doing marquee jobs such as a larger dressing room. “I design every space like it’s my own,” she says. She also enjoys the great working environment which Closet Envy fosters. “No company has the same working environment that we do. We all look out for each other, and everyone in the company is just as passionate as the designer.”
Trish is the person that all Closet Envy clients deal with when they contact us, and the project manager for all jobs from estimation to completion. Her education in civil engineering and urban planning gives her an excellent background in planning and design. She’s very friendly and approachable, and always makes our clients feel at ease and happy whenever they’re dealing with her.
Trish keeps projects on point by ensuring that they are done on time, within budget, and to the exact specifications agreed on by the designer and customer. She also participates in many business development activities on a day-to-day basis, as well as managing finances and marketing.
Trish’s organizational and people skills are part of the reason that Closet Envy has become a leader in Burlington and surrounding areas when it comes to storage jobs. Her professionalism and team spirit are evident in everything she does.
